her majesty’s bahamas

a documentary

Produced by Consuming the Arts Theatre Project, a Purpose Pictures Documentary, in association with Los Valientes Productions; This Documentary was commissioned, filmed, and edited in under 7 days. in 2012, we will be taking the completed short to film festivals in order to spread awareness.

Director Aurora Lizardi is known for much of her stage work, but was compelled to expose the unjust world of Her Majesty’s Bahamas after serving a false prison sentence in Her Majesty’s Prison. Producer and Co-Director Jennica Schwartzman, gathered a crew and brought on Composer Jason Farnham and Editor Michael D Williams to put together an amazing piece we can’t wait to share with you.

We are gathering accounts of others who have been falsely persecuted and coerced into taking a prison sentence in the supposedly Christian Country, This short Documentary is just the beginning for a larger campaign and a feature Documentary educating citizens and trying to change the current state of the Bahamas’ Legal System.

This Exposing Documentary was Directed by Aurora Lizardi, a business woman caught in the corrupt & intentionally misleading court system of the Bahamas. Her account is heartbreaking & the reality of the widespread foreign prejudice will make you re-think the Tourist Ad Campaign’s version of the Bahamas.
